Hot Cracksealing
We have been using hot applied cracksealants for many years.
Cracks and joints are properly power routed and cleaned of dirt and vegetation..
The rubberized cracksealant is heated in an oil jacketed kettle to maintain
the proper temperature for application. The heated material is pumped through
a hose and wand into the crack and is scored off on the surface. This process
ensures a proper bond between the material and the pavement. The cracksealant
provides a flexable barrier to keep water and ice out of the cracks and help
prolong the pavement life.
